As leaders, we often find ourselves navigating a path that is as challenging as it is rewarding. At RichSteps, we believe the journey to becoming a better leader doesn't always have to start in the boardroom - it can begin with a single step in the great outdoors.
It's on these mountain or moorland paths that we find the perfect metaphor for leadership, a potent blend of challenge, adaptability, resilience, as well as the joy and adventure of the journey.

“I had a really good experience. It has already got me thinking about how to find greater balance in terms of fitting in more recharge time, together with more focused time for my bigger projects.
Having done a couple of similar things previously, the real value of this is not only what I learnt on the day, but in the tools and ongoing support that participants are given to put those learnings into action. This is where it will make the difference.
If the effectiveness of the experience needs to be purely measured in terms of the change it brings about, then I can happily report that I have hired a project manager to allow me to get into recharge and focus mode more often.”
"Personally I loved it – interesting content delivered whilst doing something I really enjoy. A day away from my desk felt like a real treat. A key difference to similar courses I have done before (as well as it being outdoors!) is the follow-up coaching and support you offer. This will help in ensuring that change is implemented, and in relation to the content I mean personal change, even if this is just recognising that team members think and behave in different ways.
The location made a big difference to how I processed the information. Perhaps this is down to my personality type, but not being in a conference room was a real plus for me. This goes hand in hand with Steve’s delivery style, where he listened and processed answers without any hint of judgement, and this is a big reason why it works.
In terms of content, the Voices were a big revelation. What I learned is already having a big impact on how I am dealing with people in day to day life, and has also made me think about how I face tasks myself.”
